Terms & Conditions
These terms set the rules of engagement between dockyard (“we”) and our clients (“you”). By working with us, you agree to the following:
1. Scope of Work
We’ll deliver the services outlined in your approved proposal or estimate.
If project requirements change along the way, we’ll adjust timelines and costs together before moving forward.
Unless specified, projects include three rounds of revisions per deliverable. Additional changes will be billed at our standard rate.
2. Responsibilities
We rely on you to provide accurate, complete information and required assets on time. Delays in this may shift deadlines, which dockyard will not be responsible for.
You’re responsible for confirming you own or have licensed all text, images, and materials you provide.
3. Payments
Payment terms are 40% upfront and balance within 15 days of invoice (unless agreed otherwise).
dockyard retains ownership of all work until payment is received in full.
Third-party costs (photography, printing, hosting, etc.) are billed separately with your approval.
4. Intellectual Property
Once paid in full, final deliverables (logos, brand assets, websites, etc.) are yours to use as agreed.
dockyard keeps ownership of all working/source files unless otherwise arranged. These can be provided at an additional cost.
We retain the right to showcase completed projects in our portfolio and marketing unless specified in a separate NDA.
5. Liability
Our liability is limited to the total fees paid for the project.
We’re not liable for indirect losses such as lost revenue, profits, or opportunities.
We can’t be held responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control.
6. Ending a Project
If you decide to cancel after work begins, you’ll be billed for all work completed to that point.
7. Variations
These terms may be updated occasionally or change as per individual project contracts. Any changes will be agreed in writing before they apply to your project.
